Kuala Lumpur, 28 November 2014 – AIA Bhd. is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Heng Zee Wang to the role of Deputy General Manager, Finance and Actuarial, reporting to Mr. Bill Lisle, CEO of AIA Bhd. Mr. Heng has replaced Ms. Anusha Thavarajah, who has taken on a new regional role in AIA Group in Hong Kong.
Mr. Heng joined AIA Malaysia from AIA Group Office where he served as the Regional Business Development Director. Prior to this, he was the Head of Integration where he coordinated the successful achievement of single licence towards integrating the AIA and ING businesses in Malaysia.
In addition to being responsible for both Finance and Actuarial portfolios in AIA Bhd., Mr. Heng will also oversee Procurement, Enterprise Risk Management and Strategy & Business Planning in his new role.
Mr Heng is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and he holds a First class honours in Actuarial Science from the University of Kent.
