Showing up for a new workout class, especially one that involves a real pair of boxing gloves can be exciting and a little nerving � will I be able to perform the exercise or will I just be throwing random punches in the air? This was just one of the many questions running through Hann�s mind as the trainer methodically guided her on how to put on the hand wrap securely around both her hands and wrists, to get her ready for BOOM.

Hann describes her first class as exceeding her expectations. �It was more intense than I thought it would be as I believed it would only entail boxing. I thought it would be a lot like Body Combat, which involves a lot of stamina but doesn�t include so much strength. Boom, on the other hand, includes squats, long range jumps, push ups and sit ups; making it a pretty intense workout. Also, this was the first time I had boxing gloves on and we had real punching bags.�
Speaking on what she enjoyed most about this workout session, Hann is quick to point out how despite being a rigorous exercise routine, the trainer was able to guide them with patience and ease.
�It definitely helps with coordination as you have to remember the moves and perform them in the right sequence. It activates your brain,� explains Hann.
